The first of our chickens have arrived.They came Tues. and seem to like the new home we have provided them with. We now have 13 chicks living in our garage. 2- Black Silkie, 2- White Silkie, 2-White Frizzle, 1-Buff Silkie, 1-Partridge Cochin, 1-Cochin, 1-Buff Polish, 1- Red Cochin & 2-Mottled Cochin. (Don't ask me which one is which the best I could offer is a guess.) The kids are excited about them and check on them often to make sure they are OK. Grandpa Taylor and Justin have begun construction on the chicken coop in the back of my garden. As Josh was tucking Tyson into bed on Tuesday Ty said to his dad, " Don't you think you could try a little harder to like the chickens." Needless to say Josh is working on it.

The pictures are so cute of the kids with the chickens- I want to see one of Josh with them!
No pics with me and chickens will be taken. I don't get close enough to them to allow a picture to be taken. Please remember as you all continue to read and hear about the chickens here on our blog or elsewhere, they are not my chickens. :)

Josh you need to soften up a little it won't kill you. You might find you could enjoy it. Smile it will help you go a long way. I've learned this living with Steven for 31 years.
How can you not just fall in love with those chickens, especially after looking at the picture of Cade? Too much fun!
